Building A Powerful Association Of Community Investors

Our History
The Nevada Women's Philanthropy was founded in November of 2005 by Dena duBoef, Heather duBoef, Marcelle Frey, Dana Lee, Trina Pascal and Tawny Sanders due to their desire to find a more directed and impactful way to participate in philanthropy. The NWP is based on the model of Everychild Foundation in Los Angeles. The founders are most grateful to Everychild Foundation's founder and president, Jacqueline Caster, for her support and guidance in establishing the NWP.

Nevada Women's Philanthropy (NWP) is a member driven, pooled fund, large impact grant making organization established to address the needs of the greater Las Vegas community. Our membership consists of philanthropically motivated women, united by a powerful desire to address emerging issues facing our community in the areas of arts, education, environment, social services, and health.

NWP has granted $4.15 million to Las Vegas-area nonprofits since it was created in 2005. It averages about 80 members per year. It is an all-volunteer organization.
